Dr Elly Warren @drelly_warren is a GP who discovered cycling 3 years ago and has never looked back! Elly is keen to promote cancer awareness, particularly where there are inequities in treatment access and outcomes. 

She will ride for Apeksha in the month of October to support the cause.  

Career highlights

  • Awarded AusCycling NSW Cyclist of the Year 2022 in her age group 
  • Won Gold and Silver medals at the Australian Masters Road Cycling Championships in September in the individual time trial and the criterium.
  • Completed 4 Everesting Challenges. 
  • In January, she and her friend Bec Hoschke led a team of 27 cyclists in an Everesting Roam Challenge in high country Victoria, riding 400km+ in 36 hours to the height of 10000m. Her @alpineeveresting team comprised 20 women, including the youngest (17yo) and oldest (57yo) to ever complete the challenge. They raised $100000 to fund a Cancer Navigator position for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people on Darkinjung Country.
